At Elgin our Women's Ministry fosters an environment where women of all ages can find support and grow spiritually.
Collectively all members embrace and stay connected with at least one other member of the group on a weekly basis.
Spiritual growth is promoted through prayer and topical devotional and bible studies. Our prayer focus this year is incorporating asking for the Holy Spirit daily and Letting go so God can Lead.
We enjoy each others company and support, and foster our relationships through social gatherings like our:
- Annual spring event - Afternoon Tea Party
- Summer Fling - Meet at a park or other outdoor venue
- Annual Christmas - Gift Exchange
Additionally, Elgin Adventist Women's Ministry supports other ministries within the church; making blankets and organizing gift baskets for the local nursing home residents; packing holiday food baskets; and, we pray for all that goes on around us.
